Position summary:

The Market Intelligence Analyst will develop and communicate insight-based recommendations that inform the company's global product strategy. In this a high-visibility role, the candidate would have the opportunity to directly and positively impact the company's growth strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Thought leadership in market and industry dynamics

  • Deep-dive competitive research and analysis, including pricing

  • Conducting various forms of research including internal data mining, expert interviews, online panels, and Voice of the Customer (VotC) interviews

  • Regular interaction with analysts, including inquiries, briefings, and strategy sessions

  • Ongoing collaboration with Product Management and Product Marketers on the development of business models, product plans, and Go-to-Market strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) AND 1-3 years of relevant work experience at a communications/technology company or research firm

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Science (MS) in Statistics highly preferred

  • Expert-level understanding of research methods; candidate should understand the relative merits of different types of methods and models and apply accordingly

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical/complex information and recommendations succinctly and an impactful manner

  • Multitasker who can effectively prioritize, oversee, and facilitate multiple projects and requests

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical staff

  • High degree of comfort with Microsoft® Excel

  • Unparalleled written and verbal communication skills

  • Travel 10%
