Manpower Group Mechanical Installer I in Arizona

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Installer I to join our team. The Mechanical Installers are critical to the smooth installation of our customers various material handling systems. They will perform mechanical work with the support of the Intelligrated Installation team. The qualified candidate will receive on-site training and will be part of a team reporting directly to the Intelligrated Mechanical Installation Supervisor.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.

  • Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units.

  • Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 0-2 years of experience.

  • Lifting will exceed 30lbs, up to 50lbs and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.

  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40ft

  • Ability to work 58+ hour work weeks

  • Ability to operate fork lift and scissor lift equipment safely and accurately

  • Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

  • Experience working with a reach forklift preferred.

  • Works under immediate supervision.

  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

  • Conveyor and/or Sortation experience preferred

  • Ability to stand or walk on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift

PPE Required:

  • Steel toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, reflective vest, jeans, work gloves

  • No skirts or shorts, No overly loose or tight garments, keep long hair tied up at all times while onsite (if applicable)

  • Wrench set 3/8"-15/16"

  • 3/8" drive socket set 3/8"-15/16"

  • 3/8" ratchet

  • Line up pin

  • Needle nose pliers

  • Vise grips

  • Channel lock pliers

  • 2lb. or 3lb hammer

  • 25' or 30' tape measure

  • 12" torpedo level

  • Band cutters

  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers

  • 12" adjustable wrench

  • Razor knife
