Manpower Group GCS Technician in Austin, Texas
The GCS Technician position requires the technician to comprehensively own, maintain, support and improve HPM operations at SAS. The technician will interact with on-site 3 rd party operations team and support HPM chemical, gas and slurry activities as required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Gas, equipment and systems monitoring and tool ownership/support, including sustaining operations, maintenance, and process & equipment improvements
Evaluation of process requirements and specification of new gas and chemical delivery systems as required
Daily interface with Fab engineering providing technical support, supply issue resolution, and gas & chemical stops and starts as required
Ability to effectively work with, and help to insure proper execution from embedded vendor contracted labor force related to owned toolset(s)
Primary job function is field monitoring of HPM work performed by contractor staff, including bulk chemical loads and offloads. Focus area for monitoring includes: safety adherence, identifying improvements, upholding site standards.
The candidate should demonstrate an ability to effectively own and troubleshoot issues on a wide range of chemical delivery hardware.
Familiarity with data analysis related to flow rates, pressures, and consumption trends.
The candidate should be able to effectively work towards continuous improvement goals using systematic technical processes.
AS degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, or related technical field preferred.
HAZWOPER certification a plus
2+ years of experience in HPM material handling or equipment ownership a plus
2 years of chemical delivery operations experience; semiconductor facility support preferred
2 years direct equipment support in a large scale manufacturing environment
Familiarity with systems troubleshooting and strong mechanical aptitude
Familiarity with design and installation of equipment including piping systems and facility support equipment
Aptitude for documentation and data analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
Ability to work overtime / on non-scheduled days as required
