Manpower is working with a Custom Cabinet Manufacturer in East Earl to hire a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join their team.
Pay rate is $17-20/hour plus a shift differential of $1.50. Will consider a higher pay rate based on experience!
Shift is Sunday 10pm-6am and Mon-Thurs 9pm-6am and 2 Saturdays a month.
Must be available to train on 1st shift.

Position Summary: The Maintenance Technician must support daily production requirements related to equipment and utilities uptime. The Maintenance Technician must work together with all of the support services groups to meet department goals. The Maintenance Technician must communicate all necessary information related to equipment status to the Production Team Leaders, Finishing Team Leaders, Maintenance Team Leader, and/or the Facilities Manager. The Maintenance Technician must complete specific pm's/tasks assigned to him/her for their area of responsibility as well as the entire complex.
Essential Job Functions: * Understands production process' and supports/contributes opportunities for continuous improvement * Ensures team goals are achieved through the use of Conestoga's Best Practices, Work Instructions/Story Boards and pre-established standards * Keeps accurate and timely records related to pm/task work orders in the AS400 system * Responsible for upholding the company's values, vision and mission by integrating into employee daily schedule: integrity, respect, accountability, resourcefulness and innovation * Facilitates root cause of machinery downtime failures * Communicate directly with Production Team Leaders in prioritization of requested tasks * High Level of Customer Service skills to satisfy equipment operator requests * Must be able to balance tasks within their area of responsibility with overall department tasks assigned throughout areas of the entire complex when needed * Recommends spare parts inventories * Performs routine maintenance on equipment * Troubleshoots electrical and/or mechanical problems and perform repairs * Assists with installation of machines and power systems * Performs minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician such as replacing light bulbs and fuses * Maintains machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, oiling, to ensure optimum working order * Promotes safety through work procedures and employee safety programs. Ensure equipment is maintained in safe operating condition * Performs any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Team Leader and/or Facilities manager Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Job requires troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics * Job requires basic skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and the AS400 system * Job requires skills in written and verbal communication * Job requires skills in the operation of a variety of hand tools *
