Sr. HR Business Partner - Fort Worth, TX
MAJOR JOB OBJECTIVES
Champion and drive all Human Resource initiatives as they apply to assigned business unit/department. Partner with leaders of assigned areas at all levels to promote a high performance culture by proactively identifying potential barriers to success, providing alternatives and focusing on communication. Act as a strategic business partner, employee champion, change agent, and service expert.
The Sr. Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for senior level management of business units and/or departments.
Strategic workforce planning and succession planning
Execution of HR objectives
Organizational development, performance management, and learning and development initiatives.
Be a key driver in the development and growth of employees and the company.
Maintain current understanding of the assigned business unit's/department's financial status, product/service offerings, and growth strategy. Partner with assigned business unit/department leadership to align/execute on HR/business objectives.
Collaborate with business units/departments to drive organizational strategy through strategic workforce planning, succession planning, learning & development, organizational design, change management, and recruitment initiatives.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to align business unit/department growth strategy to proactively identify future recruitment needs. Sr. HR Business Partner should possess a full understanding of talent landscape, assist with the formulation of recruitments strategies, and provide guidance on candidate selection through interviews and assessments.
Work with business unit/department leadership and Learning & Development to identify and provide developmental opportunities for the workforce ensuring engagement and career progression.
Partner with Total Rewards to provide analysis of job structure and compensation. Provide guidance to leadership in its application.
Consultant to leadership on performance management issues. Ensure performance reviews, promotions, rotational assignments, development needs, coaching, performance improvement plans, and performance review planning is executed seamlessly.
Advise on all employee relations matters, inclusive of adherence to policy, employee complaints, voluntary and involuntary terminations, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Work closely with leadership and Legal department, ensuring timely resolution.
Actively engage with community/industry organizations to develop strategies to increase brand recognition, talent acquisition/development initiatives, community involvement, and education awareness of our business
Bachelor's Degree required
Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent is preferred
Practical knowledge of assigned functional areas as would normally be attained through 10 or more years of experience in the field
Knowledge of and ability to apply concepts, practices and procedures within specialized field
Strong leadership abilities and proven project management skills, including negotiation, influence and conflict resolution
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
High Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools
Strong critical thinking skills
