Mon - Fri
. Hang and remove product from paint line per procedure.
. Visually adapt at spotting defects and blemishes and conform to paint finish specifications.
. Mask and plug parts as needed.
. Maintain cleanliness of area and of all equipment.
. Maintain high quality throughout all phases of painting operations.
. Follow all paint procedures and work instructions.
. Ensure parts are handled and protected properly and all moves are completed accurately, including non conforming product.
. Ensure parts are painted as directed by management to satisfy customer delivery requirements.
. Participate in continuous improvement and team development activities.
. Paint product with spray guns (powder paint)**
. Ability to recognize surface defects.
. Ability to count accurately.
. Other duties as assigned.
. High School Diploma/GED.
. Team Player, Solid Communication Skills, Good Work Ethic and Basic Computer Skills.
. Safety Conscious.
. **Basic Competency Exam for Painters - required to operate spray guns.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
. Frequent lifting up to 40 pounds.
. Able to wear hearing protection, respirator use, and grasping parts.
. Occasional use of air nozzle to clean parts.
. Frequent bending to remove/hang parts on the line.
. Frequent use of hoist.
. Contact with chemicals, powder paint, and cleaning of booths and ovens.
. Constant standing, frequent walking.
. Occasional use of forklift and/or other powered moving equipment.
. Able to push and pull carts.
