Manpower Group Quality Assurance Engineer - electronics in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
A direct hire career opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer (electronics manufacturing) is available in Lancaster. This position manages all quality aspects of a specific program(s) or for a specific Customer's contracts. Activities typically include contract review, environmental oversight, development of reports, instructions, documentation as required by contract (or internal procedures), and management of issues throughout the contract lifecycle. In addition, this position will support business system improvement activities as required by the Quality Management System (QMS).
Manages all of the Quality Assurance, Reliability, System Safety, Human Factors, and Maintainability requirements of an Assigned job
Interfaces with the internal and external customers
Supports job bid activities
Reads, interprets and executes all assigned contracts/Purchase Orders.
Generates and submits all project related documentation.
Attends all project related meetings and activities as applicable
Executes Quality Assurance related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Creates necessary documentation and/or communications
Coordinates all testing with the Environmental Engineer
Executes all duties in an ethical and professional manner.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives.
Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance, combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies (electronics manufacturing)
Experience with Military and International Quality System rules, regulations, standards, including planning and implementation.
Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities.
Strong computer skills including near expert skills in most of the Microsoft Office Business suite.
Excellent customer service skills and focus required.
Ability to take initiative, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment
GD&T and technical drawing knowledge.
Ability to obtain Electronic Industry certifications such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, etc.
Ability to obtain/maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
(Reliability and maintenance experience, mean time between failure calculation, and IPC class 3 experience /certification a plus!)
