Manpower is recruiting a Receiving Inspector for a successful Electronics Assembler in Lititz, PA.

Position is Temp to HIRE and on 1st shift. Pay rate is $14-18/hour.

Position Summary: Inspects all incoming materials and components procured by the company to ensure the material meets the requirements defined by purchase orders, drawings, and industry standards so that compliant materials is supplied to the manufacturing department.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs visual and mechanical inspections of all parts and materials received at the company that will be used to produce deliverable products. Utilizes microscopes, test equipment, and standard measuring equipment to perform inspections.

  • Performs inspection of parts for compliance to industry standards, military specifications, and customer drawings. Utilizes advanced inspection tools such as height gauges, optical comparators, and coordinate measurement machine (CMM).

  • Verifies and properly stores all required paperwork including certifications, test data, etc. as listed on the purchase order. This includes entry of documentation into the Quality System software.

  • Works with Quality Engineers and Purchasing in the disposition of non-conforming material.

  • Assigns of shelf life to incoming chemicals and other age sensitive materials.

  • Assists in keeping the inspection department compliant with all ISO/AS9102 requirements on continuing basis.

  • Responsible for the general order and upkeep of workstations and the Receiving Inspection department.

  • Performs other tasks and duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Quality Assurance.

  • Basic knowledge of technical drawing interpretation, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

  • DOD experience a plus but not necessarily required.

  • Experience with Military and International Quality System rules, regulations, standards, including planning and implementation.

  • Experience with and understanding of standard measuring equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and organizational abilities.

  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Advanced GD&T and technical drawing knowledge.

  • Electronic Industry standard certifications such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, etc.
