Manpower Group Production Workers Needed in Marysville WA. in Marysville, Washington
Manpower is currently looking for Production Workers. Established in 1985, a Washington State investment casting foundry operates two full service foundries in Marysville, and Seattle WA.
The production worker position performs all tasks involved in the production of the company's products. This includes grinding, wax assembly, deburring and packing. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Previous experience as a Foundry Helper preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
Use appropriate tools to finish castings based on quality specifications.
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists.
Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
Mark or tag identification on parts.
Load and unload items from machines
Record information, such as the number of products tested, meter readings, or dates and times of product production
Follow written and verbal work instruction
Performs production reporting as assigned
Meet cycle time expectations as communicated by the supervisor
Meet all quality expectations
Support all continuous improvement activities within the functional area
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to follow instructions, read, write and perform arithmetic calculations
Ability to work as a team member
Ability to work in difficult working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, temperature extremes, molten metal and other elements for extended periods of time.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred
Basic computer literacy: word processing, spreadsheet and email
Basic math skills
Good hand / eye coordination while able to work with repetitive tasks on daily basis
A high aptitude for fine detail work a must
