Manpower Group Quality Control Inspector in Newark, California
Quality Control Inspector Qualifications: Inspect all products such as metal frames both back frames and bottom frames of car seats. Inspect all glue and weld joints to make sure all parts are tightly in place and correctly installed. Final Inspection of all seats, headliners being shipped to the client · Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing · Ability to promote a team environment · Ability to work in a fast paced environment · Must be willing to and able to work flexible hours and work overtime as required · Must work well in a team environment · Must demonstrate good attendance · Must have a high school diploma or GED · Must pass background check and drug screen Experience Requirements: · Experience in managing/ supervising employees within a manufacturing environment · Certificate of Quality Inspection with solid understanding of quality concepts a plus · Working knowledge of OHSW&E standards and processes · Understanding of TS16949 and ISO 14001 · Proven experience in a similar role within a high volume manufacturing environment · Proven customer service orientation EHS Requirements: · Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental Standards · Report occupational injuries, illnesses and accidents · Report hazardous, unsafe and unhealthy conditions Physical Requirements: · Ability to lift a minimum of 35 lbs repetitively · Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours a day · Ability to work in a physical position which requires frequent lifting, pushing/pulling, grasping, squeezing, bending, reaching, stooping and twisting · May be exposed to marked changes in temperatures, moving mechanical parts, and dust · Manufacturing Environment which requires the use of foot protection and eye protection.
MUST have HS Diploma and pass a 7-year drug screen and 5 panel drug screen
