Manpower Group Mechanical Installer I in Puyallup, Washington
We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Installer I to join our team. The Mechanical Installers are critical to the smooth installation of our customers various material handling systems. They will perform mechanical work with the support of the Intelligrated Installation team. The qualified candidate will receive on-site training and will be part of a team reporting directly to the Intelligrated Mechanical Installation Supervisor.
58 HOUR WORK WEEK: M-F 7AM-5:30PM; SATURDAY 7AM-3:30PM
Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.
Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units.
Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required to meet certain certifications in field and to have at least 0-2 years of experience.
Lifting will exceed 30lbs, up to 50lbs and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40ft
Ability to work 58+ hour work weeks
Ability to operate fork lift and scissor lift equipment safely and accurately
Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Experience working with a reach forklift preferred.
Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Conveyor and/or Sortation experience preferred
Ability to stand or walk on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift
Steel toed shoes, hard hat, safety glasses, reflective vest, jeans, work gloves
No skirts or shorts, No overly loose or tight garments, keep long hair tied up at all times while onsite (if applicable)
