To have the ability to complete minor repairs, trouble shooting, and testing of various electronic devices
Conducts engineering/development tests and detailed experimental testing to collect design data or otherwise assist in general research work.
To be able to follow instructions and work within a team environment
Ability to properly complete material request, and work related documentation, then input appropriate documentation into computer
Troubleshoot and repair products to the component level utilizing standard test equipment and engineering documentation
Test all repairs using standard IEI test procedures
Perform equipment modifications utilizing IEI engineering documentation.
Utilizes normal and specialized developmental tests or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, VOM, DVM, signal generators and similar test apparatus
Must be able to solder to component level
Must have the ability to conduct quality inspection of own work and follow quality standards
Must follow all corporate, safety, production procedures and regulations.
Writes ATP with minimal Supervision
Requirements: Associate's Degree in Electronics or Military equivalent (3-5 years of experience may substitute)
Environment: 7 production teams; mainly a repair & overhaul shop; very collaborative team environment
Hours: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm (30 minute lunch and 2-10 minute breaks). In addition there is an average of 12-16% overtime
Electronic component troubleshooting experience
Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office; quick study of ERP system (we use BAAN)-have the ability to input data and order materials. Plus you get every other FRIDAY OFF!
Ability to read/interpret schematics
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Military training-radar, data entry systems, etc.

Experience in soldering
Must be a team player

Ability to lift up to 70Lbs
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
